DMT & Trampoline Spring Cup 1
An amazing weekend for Marriotts DMT squad at the Spring Cup 1 event.
Marshall and Omo announced themselves as Seniors taking home the Gold and Silver respectfully in the Senior Mens category. Both boys securing key scores towards possible selections for European Championships and World Games.
Ava Parsons was competing in her first FIG level event and put out 5 fantastic passes to take home the bronze medal in the 11-12 girls category, an utterly fabulous achievement.
Izzy Mapley was also competing in her first FIG level event, and competed 3 strong passes in the prelims to finish in an impressive 13th in the hugely competitive 15-16 girls category.
Tom had a brilliant prelims qualifying to the final in 3rd position, and securing the score he needed for possible qualification to the National Age Group Championships later in the year. However a mistake in the final saw him finish a respectable 7th in the 17-21 mens category.
Danielle Shaw unfortunately made a mistake in her first pass, and despite 2 more excellent passes and scores was unable to make the top 8 final, finishing in 11th in the 17-21 womens category.
Ruth had a hard day at the office falling foul of some big landing penalties which saw her narrowly miss the top 8 final, finishing in 9th in the Senior Womens category.
Danielle Hurford completed 3 good passes but also struggled with her landings, finishing 16th in the Senior Womens category.
