Holiday Classes

Gymnastics & Trampoline Holiday Classes

Are run by our qualified British Gymnastics Gymnastics coaches and trainee coaches / volunteers.   All of our coaches over the age of 16 have current enhanced DBS clearance and complete Safeguarding and Protecting children training.

These classes are open to both members and non-members of the club.

We have some fantastic sessions planned for you over the holidays.

New Events Booking System

The new events system is for both members and non-members of the Club

• When you first use the events system you will be asked to create a user account on myclubadmin

• Once you have an account you can then book a class and add your member (gymnast) to it

• Your payment is due when you book by card / apple pay / google pay

Please be aware that:

• Multiple events cannot be booked together in one transaction at this time. You will need to book each event that you wish your child to attend separately.

Booking Terms & Conditions

• Children must be within the correct age to attend the classes.

• Payment is immediate and spaces cannot be reserved.

• You will receive an email confirmation once payment is received so please check your junk mail. If you don’t receive on please email rec@marriottsgymnastics.com for confirmation

• ALL bookings are non-refundable and non transferable and cannot be cancelled regardless of the reason for non-attendance

• If the Club is unable to provide the scheduled class you will be offered an alternative solution.

Additional Class Information :

• No jeans, buttons, belts, zips or hoods allowed on children’s clothes

• Leotard or T-shirt and Leggings/ tracksuit should be worn - no crop tops allowed

• Socks / Gymnastics / Trampoline Shoes must be worn for all trampoline / DMT classes

• All jewellery must be removed and long hair tied back

• Children should bring sufficient drink of water/squash - no fizzy drinks

• Snacks with nuts are not allowed in the gymnastics hall

• all participants will be met at the sports centre door by our staff for registration and then will be brought back to the door for collection at the end of the session. Parents will be allowed in the waiting area once children have been registered and will then be asked to go to collection point 5 minutes before the end of the session.

Gymnastics Classes (with parent /carer)

These gymnastics classes with parent / carer incorporate fun coordination and gymnastics activities which are supervised by the child's parent / adult carer and overseen by our coaches. The equipment is set up for jumping, balancing, swinging, rolling, running, throwing and catching. Children work at their own pace with you and staff are on hand to advise how to use the equipment with your child.

Please Note:

• children must be in the correct age group on the day of the class or they will not be admitted

• A maximum of ONE participating child can be supervised per parent / adult carer (1 child=1 carer,  2 children = 2 carers etc)

• You will not be allowed to participate if you do not have the correct number of carers to children

• Only one adult can be with a participating child in the gymnastics hall at any time but you can swap out with another adult

• siblings not participating in the class are NOT allowed in the gymnastics hall and those under the age of 13 are NOT allowed to be left unsupervised in the waiting area.

• Pushchairs cannot be accommodated inside the gymnastics hall but may be left in the waiting area at your own risk.

• Please make your bookings carefully as all bookings are non-refundable and non-transferrable regardless of the reason for non-attendance and once booked cannot be cancelled.

Gymnastics Classes (Independent)

These gymnastics classes are suitable for beginners to advanced recreational gymnasts.

We also have our all day gymnastics camp with a lunch break for the 6-12yrs age group

Gymnastics 3-4 yrs (0.75hr)

Children who book in for the all day class will need to bring a healthy packed lunch and additional drink with them during the supervised lunch break from 12.00pm-12.30pm.

Double Mini Trampoline (DMT) 9-15 years (1.0 hr)

NB This is not an advanced level class and is not suitable for competitive DMT gymnasts

These sessions are run by our Head of Trampoline & DMT Phil Dodson and are suitable for all levels.

One to One Holiday Sessions

Gymnastics One to One Sessions (1 hour) 8yrs+

Our one to one sessions are not suitable for beginners and are for more experienced gymnasts to have personal session with one of our competition squad coaches. These sessions can be used to improve skills through preparations and technical advice.

DMT (Double Mini Trampoline) or Trampoline One to One Sessions 10yrs+ (1 hour)

Book a DMT one to one session with Phil Dodson, High Performance Coach for Trampoline & DMT and Head National Coach for British Gymnastics DMT Squad or Ruth Shevelan, High Performance and English DMT Development Coach

Please note that these sessions are only for experienced DMT gymnasts following a competitive pathway and are not suitable for beginners.
