DMT & TRA English Series 2
The English Series 2 took place from 11-12 May 2019 at the Telford International Centre.
DAY 1
Another brilliant day for Marriotts at the English Championships Qualification 2 competition. Today was Gold level day.
In the Senior women’s category Taylor came out fighting, with 2 excellent prelims passes to qualify for the top 8 final. She followed this up with a great performance to finish 7th overall and cement her qualification to the English Championships later in the year.
Taylor was joined in the final by Dani, who took full advantage of the scores resetting to zero and put in a fabulous final 2 passes to finish an incredible 4th. Again, confirming her qualification to the English Championships along the way.
In the 13-14 boys category, Omo and Marshall continued as they’ve started, achieving their second top of the podium lockout of the season. Omo with the gold and Marshall with the silver. Amazing work boys.
DAY 2
Silver day at the English Championships Qualification 2 competition today in Telford.
Excellent performances from all 3 girls on the DMT.
Asia, competing for the first time at this level, put down 2 lovely passes to finish 12th in a massive group of 13-14 year olds.
Anna competed a whole set of new passes, with increased difficulty, including a double somersault for the first time. A fabulous achievement finishing in 8th place in the 11-12 girls category.
Tilly followed up her bronze from last Competition with an upgrade to silver in the 15-16 girls category. Amazing stuff.
All 3 girls now wait to find out whether they have qualified to the English Championships later in the year.
