DMT & TRA Spring Series 2
The Spring Series 2 took place at the EIS in Sheffield from 1-2 June 2019
Spring Series 2- 1st/2nd June
A quite fantastic weekend for our TRA and DMT gymnasts in Sheffield for the Spring Event Series 2 Competition.
Omo and Marshall took home the medals in the 13-14 boys FIG Performance DMT category. Both boys have now cemented their qualification to the British Championships in September. Along the way Omo secured a score that puts him in the mix for selection to the World Age Group Competition later in the year.
Dani and Taylor came away in 6th and 8th place in the 17-21 FIG Performance DMT category. Again both girls securing their qualification to the British Championships.
Ruth, competing for her home club Dynamo, went one better than last time out winning the medal in the Senior Women’s FIG Performance DMT category. Also posting a PB score which puts her in line for selection to Senior World Championships!
On the trampoline Taylor put the demons of last competition behind her and completed 2 solid routines to finish 12th in the 17+ FIG Development group.
Omo made a couple of costly mistakes in his trampoline routines which saw him finish 16th in the 13-14 FIG Development group.
An excellent (but long) weekend! Well done all.
