Mens & Womens Artistic English Championships 2024
Congratulations to all those who competed at the English championships in Telford from 1-3 March 2024
DAY ONE
In the MAG U16 Riley was 12th all around with 3rd on vault and 5th on floor.
Ethan set a new AA personal best score of 66.55 to place 21st. Christian had a couple of mistakes on pommel but did not let it deter him on the rest of the apparatus and finished in 44th.
In the WAG Aspire competition, Holly was competing in her first home nation event and put in some great performances to finish in 48th place AA.
DAY TWO
MAG U18 - Fin had a shaky start with a couple of falls on pommel, but got better and better as the competition went on finishing 13th AA & 6th floor, 8th vault, 10th high bar. Dylan had a great start on pommels, finishing in 9th on that apparatus. and placed 20th AA
Paula & Teah were in the first round of the Senior WAG compettion. A great experience for the two gymnasts today.
DAY THREE
On Sunday at the English Championships Andrew competed in the Mens U14 which was the last round of the day. He put in good performances on pommel, rings & pbars. His last apparatus at the end of a very long round was floor and he finished 38th all around.
Well done to all the gymnasts & coaches what a fabulous experience for everyone!
